It is more and more urgent to find alternative ways of life that can be well combined with a sustainable development, taking into consideration problems related to environment and earth’s overpopulation. It is not more possible to keep on “moulding earth”, opening enormous wounds, against any ethical and natural logic, to satisfy building markets always more out of proportion. Today human beings need to answer to urgent social needs re-establishing a balance between the natural world and the anthropised world. New technologies revolutionised the concept of mobility even in day-to-day life: a new intellectual nomadism arouses the need to live in an extemporary way. This generates the need to find new forms of  reassemblable ad reconvertable habitat with changeable and temporary functions. People reinvent their existence, a mobility and a constant re-conversion. Places decelop, change and dissole. This project aims at the creation of a contemporary, light, self-sufficient, which exploits clean energy, adapts itself to places: a “hi-ecology” (hi-tecnology for ecology) architecture. A new machine à habiter wich can find its raison d’étre in technologies and production systems of the motor-car industry. The growing crisis of motor-car sector and heavy industry, that imposes a re-thinking of the productive processes and their re-conversion, can find a possible outlet in serial production and in the commercialisation of this new habitat’s object. Composed by curved uprights, that remind organic shapes like whales’ ventral skeleton, it can be realised with many materials: steel, galvanised iron, aluminium, plastic, foliated wood, etc. Externally “brise-soleil” composed by modular photovoltaic elements function as protection and filter to mobile glass walls. The basis consists in an empty platform where installations and counterbalances are lodged; it fits easily without additional structures in all types of ground. The same platform has been conceived in a floating version. The easy transport and assembly/disassembly of it (it is transportable in containers and can be purchased in kit), allow to use it for extemporary locations like reception sanitary structures or tourist structures for historical centres; its versatility makes it suitable to various uses: villages for sporting or collective events, hotels, fitness centres, swimming pools, kiosks, information points.
